Chandrashekhar Nasib Banke college, which is popularly known as C.N.B. College, is situated in Hathiyawan. It is far from the din and bustle of towns and cities. In the aegis of late Rajo Singh, one of the most popular and veteran leaders of Bihar, the college was established in the year 1984 by late Banke Singh, the founder-secretary who donated a large piece of land to the college. The college has a co-education system and since the day of its inception, it is catering to the needs of the rural students, both boys and girls of the poor and deprived section of the society.
